Whether we are helping plan your child's special 1st birthday party, to crafting the most magical wedding day for you and your groom or even turning your home into a haven that you never want to leave, we aim to make the experience as unique as you are! Emerald House Events & Design is small business specializing in events of all kinds and decor/styling for your home.

Melissa has always been intrigued by interior design and decoration. After graduating school, she went into free lance make up artistry for over 10+ years doing makeup for fashion shows, weddings, news anchors and working as an on-site make up artist for the Indianapolis colts. Following her make up career, she decided to go into sales for a more stable income. With the birth of her three daughters she realized she was ready to put her creative side to use once more. From the moment she hosted her daughter's first birthday party, she realized planning parties was her passion.
After a few renovation projects in her own home, she realized she had a love for the aesthetics of interior design. Putting together elements that are cohesive in home design has been a growing passion. After harnessing creativity for the past 7 years personally, Melissa decided Indianapolis could use an infusion of her unique creative style and Emerald House Events & Design was founded.
